• Local artist, Jeff Perks, came into school to work with the pupils.

  Over the last two week, we have had the opportunity to work with local artist, Jeff Perks, learning new clay techniques; getting to see some of his drawings and finished pieces, and asking him some questions. Junior Class then had the opportunity to create clay sculptures with Jeff which will feature in his exhibition at the Buxton Art Gallery next year. Thank you to Jeff for giving up his time to come and work with the children.

• Sponsored Friday Mile Fun Run

  Even though the weather was cold and wet, we managed to dodge the rain and complete our fun run on the Memorial field. The children had great fun running laps around the field. They were very keen to exceed the challenge of twelve laps for KS2 and six laps for KS1. Well done everyone- we have also raised money for some good causes.
