Welcome to Red Group!

We are Red Group. We are a very special part of the Infant Class as we are the youngest children. Our class teacher is Mrs Bullock and we work with Mrs Bagguley and Sarah. We love to discover the world around us and learn new things.  If you look through our gallery you will see some recent pictures of our activities.

We need to keep our PE kits in school every day and need our swimming kits on a Tuesday.

Snow Work for Wednesday 8th January 2025

Phonics

Use the sound chart from your home learning packs (given during home visits) to practice saying each sound. Particularly focus on 'special friends' sounds 'ng, nk, qu'.

Literacy

Look out of your window and draw what you can see. Underneath your picture, write a sentence to describe what you see. Can you use a describing word in your sentence? For example: The garden is cold and snowy.

Maths

Find different objects around your house to make groups of five.

Once you have a group of five objects, split the five into two groups.

Say and write the number sentence, e.g. 2+3=5

Literacy

Draw a picture of a snowman and label the different parts. Use phonic knowledge to write labels i.e. doesn't matter if spellings aren't accurate.

Extension- write a sentence about the snowman underneath.

Maths

See how many different representations of 5 you can make using dots, objects or snowballs!
