Welcome to Red Group!
We are Red Group. We are a very special part of the Infant Class as we are the youngest children. Our class teacher is Mrs Bullock and we work with Nicola (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning) and Sarah (Thursday afternoon and Friday.) We love to discover the world around us and learn new things. If you look through our gallery you will see some recent pictures of our activities.
Our Spring term 1 topics are Birds and Winter, followed by Dragons and Chinese New Year.
If you have any relevant resources at home, please bring them in to share!
This is what an afternoon with Red Group can look like: drawing maps; designing and making a handbag, a train and a pterosaur out of junk packaging; balancing blocks to create a bridge with safety rails; playing a counting game; writing; negotiating with friends; finding out which birds can fly; constructing a playground.
All these activities were initiated by the children, and allow them to learn actively and independently.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
