Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We had a fun afternoon at Buxton Opera House watching Sleeping Beauty. Thank you to the FOLS (Friends of Litton School) for helping us with this visit.
This year our Christmas nativity is called Hey Ewe. It is telling the Christmas story from the perspective of the curious sheep. Audiences were delighted by the children’s singing and acting on stage in Litton church.
We went to the village hall for our Christmas dinner. We had turkey and sausages or a vegetation option with all the trimmings. Everyone had crackers, party hats and Christmas music was playing in the background. We had a wonderful lunch and we even managed to create a snowy scene outside the window!
We were very excited to dress up in our Christmas Jumpers and we raised £43 for Save the Children. Well done Everyone!
A large number of people came to our Christmas Fair on Saturday, including a special visit by Santa! There were loads of stalls to win prizes, guess the name of the teddy, a very exciting marble game and delicious cakes were being served in the village hall. We have raised over £2500 for the Friends of Litton School which will help to support wider curriculum opportunities for all the children.
Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to make it so successful!!
We had a very interesting and insight day on our visit to Derby yesterday. We had a guided tour and explanation about religious teaching in a Hindu temple, a mosque and in a Sikh Gurdwara. The children's behaviour was superb and they asked many thoughtful questions during our visit to each place.
