Well done to all the amazing acts in our talent show. We have some very clever and skilled children in our school. Some of our Governors came into school to be the judges and gave feedback on all our fabulous acts. Litton definitely has lots of talent!

Mandy Robinson-Young spoke to the children, parents and staff about the effects of climate change on the Masai people during our Friday family assembly. She showed us some photographs about how the Masai people live and some footage of their dancing.
Thank you for talking to us. It was very interesting and it linked to our previous learning in Geography about Kenya in KS2.
We raised £48 for comic relief and had some spotty fun.

We went on the bus to Chesterfield to find out about George Stephenson's life and had a walking tour around the town looking at key places linked to George and his inventions. The children were fascinated by the stained-glass window in the Crooked Spire Church showing the history of Chesterfield. At the end of our day, we visited Holy Trinity Church where George was buried. We had an interesting day!
