Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Litton!
We have been very busy making crafts to decorate our school ready for the Christmas Fair this Saturday (3rd December). Our Christmas Fair starts at 2.00pm in school and in the village hall.
We have started our Christmas celebrations early by holding our Christingle Service in Litton Church. Every child in school made a Christingle and we bought them to the service. Some of the candles were lit to create a warm, magical glow symbolising the light of Christ and bringing hope to people living in darkness.
We had a fantastic day dressing up for Children in Need. Everyone dressed up in their spotty clothes and we raised £48.
Thank you to everyone who supported us!
We walked to the church in Tideswell to observe and re-create drawings of the banners which are on display in the church. The theme of the banners is 'Remaking Paradise'. There were over 20 textile banners on an environmental theme created during the Covid Lockdown and made by people across the country using re-cycled and re-purposed materials. We had a very enjoyable morning and we are feeling very inspired after looking at all of the colourful banners.
