The Friends of Litton School is an association of parents, teachers, governors and friends of our school who work together to add an extra dimension to school life. In addition to raising a generous amount of money each year, the association organises a number of social events for the children and their families, giving everyone the opportunity to get to know one another.
Next Meeting 1.30pm Friday 9th December - in school.
Our key events are...
Our Christmas Fair - which is on Friday 2nd December 2016 5 - 7 pm in school
Wakes Week Café - 19th, 20th, 21st June 2017
Other events are organised throughout the year - watch this space for more details.
The funds we raise go to provide extra resources and equipment for the children, buses for educational visits, parties and special events and leavers gifts. We are currently raising money to refurbish and replace the playground equipment.
Christmas Fair Friday 2nd December 2016 5-7pm
Dare we say it - Christmas is coming fast!
Watch out for information in book folders very soon about how you can help with the Christmas fair. There's plenty to get involved in and plenty of things you can do, make, donate to make it a success!
It is always an enjoyable event and well attended - it is one of our main fundraisers of the year, so it is really important that you get involved, help, come along and support the school. All funds raised go directly to support your child and enrich their experience at school.
Litton Bake Off and Table Top Sale - 13th and 14th May
A big thank you to all who took part in the bake off and came along to the table top sale. We raised over £300.00 for the playground fund!
Phil and Steph, the Chefs from the Merchant's Yard were wholly impressed with all of your efforts. It took them almost half an hour to sample everything and make their extremely difficult decisions.
Well done to Fran Willis (Iris's Mum) who won the adult category and received a Mini Merchant's Voucher, to treat her family to a free meal at the Merchant's Yard. Well done to the other winners who will be receiving their prizes in assembly this week: Thomas E, Barnaby, Grace E, Emily and Millie were winners and Holly and Samuel's cakes were highly commended.
