Red Group

Welcome to Red Group!

We are Red Group. We are a very special part of the Infant Class as we are the youngest children. Our class teacher is Mrs Bullock and we work with Nicola (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning) and Sarah (Thursday afternoon and Friday.) We love to discover the world around us and learn new things.  If you look through our gallery you will see some recent pictures of our activities.

Our topic this term is Bears.

We are learning about measuring. We can order objects by height or length. We can use vocabulary such as: taller, shorter, longer, more, less. We can use cubes and bricks to measure.

"The whale is 14 bricks long."

On Wednesday afternoon we made some flapjack cookies because it was too wet for an adventure.

We wrote a shopping list for the ingredients and went to the shop to buy them. Then we mixed everything up, and made little balls of mixture with our (clean!) hands.

This afternoon we had a flood, so we built our own boats and sailed to the Cayman Islands.

We collaged our faces on paper plates.

Can you guess who's who?

When we grow up, we want to be...

We are learning about our bodies

We had a busy first day, with lots of making and building outside, then we did some number work. After lunch (roast beef), we did PE in the hall.
