Good morning, Year 3 and 4! I hope you're keeping warm and cosy! I went on a very snowy walk yesterday with my dogs and had to wrap up in lots of layers! Here is some learning for you to do today. 

Reading

Read through Chapter 1 of our new book 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes. I've put the chapter on the reading powerpoint below. It is quite a long chapter so you may want to read it with a grown up. Then I would like you to answer the vocabulary questions. 

Maths

Today we are going to be learning about factor pairs. 

A factor pair is a pair of numbers that give a particular product when multiplied together. For example, 2 × 5 = 10, so 2 and 5 are a factor pair of 10. 

You will need to use your times table knowledge for this lesson so you may want to warm up with a quick go on TT Rockstars first.
