     Welcome to Litton Church of England Primary School

Welcome to the website of Litton Church of England Primary School. We are a small rural school situated in the pretty village of Litton in the Derbyshire Dales and our school dates back to 1869. We are proud to be a  Church of England Aided school and we are at the heart of the Christian community in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Tideswell. We currently have 46 children on role taught in 2 mixed age classes. In 2012 we were rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and have consistently high academic results. We also hold Outstanding church School status.

We provide an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum, making full use of our beautiful outdoor environment wherever possible and constantly challenging our children to be the best that they can be. All of our children are taught within a carefully structured safeguarded environment where everyone can achieve success within a Christian setting. We also have a thriving P.T.F.A. (Friends of Litton School) and new members are always welcome.
