    We remembered the people from Litton village who fought in the First and Second World Wars. We laid a wreath in memory of them and for all service men and women in the village. We read poems and prayers during our service.

  • Wakes Week 2025

    We had a great Wakes week. The children performed country dancing, maypole dancing and morris men/ women dancing to large audiences in the sunshine and rain! Thank you to everyone who supported this week during the performances and in the village hall.

  • Our Well Dressing

    Our Well Dressing

    This year, our well-dressing theme is VE day. All the children in school have helped to design and make the well-dressing. As you can see, the well-dressing is progressing nicely, and it will be on display in the village from this Friday evening (20th June).

    Please join us on Monday 23rd June, Tuesday 24th June and Wednesday 25th June at 11.00am and/or 1.30pm to watch the children perform dances and sing in front of the school.

  • World Book Day 2025

    The children and staff had a fantastic day dressed up as their favourite story characters. During Collective Worship, we explored the love of reading and how authors bring stories to life. The children shared stories with their buddies in Buddy reading. 

    The Story Character toilet roll competition had a large number of entries which were so creative and imaginative. It was very difficult for our Governor judge to choose a winner and runner-up for each class. Well done to everyone who entered!

  • Panto Visit to Chesterfield

    The children and staff had a great time at The Winding Wheel in Chesterfield to watch the pantomine of Cinderella. The children loved the funny costumes of the ugly sisters and the sparkling dress of Cinderella.
